Sunday Night Football Picks – Best Value Bets For Colts at 49ers

The Sunday slate in NFL Week 7 gets capped off with a matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. And with that in mind, I have turned my attention to my Sunday Night Football picks once again.

I have written about this game in my NFL Week 7 picks article, so make sure that you check it out, and then grab some additional picks. However, in this article, I will identify the three best areas of profitability in the Sunday Night Football Picks. Let’s take a look at what those are.

Colts +4 (-110)

Most NFL Sportsbooks will have the Colts at +4 but if you shop around, you’ll see some +4.5s out there. Regardless, Indianapolis has a very good roster despite some key injuries occurring at the beginning of the season. WR TY Hilton came back in last week’s win, adding a whole new element to the Colts’ offense. RBs Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines will certainly play a big role in this matchup, eating the clock and keeping the ball away from the 49ers’ offense. I may pull the trigger on taking Colts ML, but for now, I’ll keep it simple by taking the points.

Jonathan Taylor: Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

One of these days, Colts head coach Frank Reich is going to learn that feeding Taylor is good for the Colts’ bottom line. Taylor has posted three straight 100+ total yard games, with two of them rushing for 100+ and one receiving 100+. Only one RB (Aaron Jones, 82) has exceeded 60 rushing yards against the 49ers, so it won’t be easy work for Taylor. Nevertheless, we’ve got all the confidence in the world for him to break through the mark.

Brandon Aiyuk: Over 32.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

There have been six different WR/TE to have at least 77 receiving yards against the Colts this season. Obviously, Aiyuk doesn’t need to go anywhere near that number, but it does show how vulnerable they have been to pass catchers. Aiyuk has been in Kyle Shanahan’s dog house all season, but the second-year wideout has a few bright spots this season. Eventually, the 49ers will need to drive the ball down the field via the pass, and Aiyuk will be waiting there with welcome arms.
