NFL Player Props | Week 7 WR Prop Bets

Last week, we debuted the newest version of our prop bet article by going through the best matchups for each position. It wound up being such a huge hit that we’re going back to the same format. And why wouldn’t we?

In this article, I will identify some of the best prop bets on the board for WRs in Week 7. Those matchups include Stefon Diggs (Buffalo Bills) at New York Jets, Terry McLaurin (Washington Football Team) vs. Dallas Cowboys, AJ Green (Cincinnati Bengals) vs. Cleveland Browns.

As usual, the odds in this article were brought to you by Bet365 and William Hill.

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. EST | Watch: CBS
MetLife Stadium – East Rutherford, NJ

Wide Receiver To Watch: Stefon Diggs

Prop Bets to Watch For: Receptions, Reception Yards, TD

The Bills passing game hasn’t been at its best in each of the last two weeks. But everyone knows the remedy for a team’s offense woes – the Jets. While teams don’t necessarily need to throw against them, it’s a spot where Buffalo needs some polishing to get right moving forward. After this matchup with the Jets is a key divisional matchup at home against the Patriots.

QB Josh Allen will look to get back on track by finding his main weapon numerous times on Sunday. Back in Week 1 against the Jets, Allen found Diggs eight times on nine targets for 86 yards. Diggs has now been targeted at least six times in six games this season, topping 100+ yards in three of the last five.

Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. EST | Watch: FOX
FedEx Field – Landover, MD

Wide Receiver To Watch: Terry McLaurin

Prop Bets to Watch For: Receiving Yards (72.5)

Despite drawing one tough matchup after the other, McLaurin has become one of the most productive WRs in the NFL this season. In fact, the numbers are so staggering, there’s almost no method of conversion that will hold him back.

McLaurin ranks tops in the NFL with 265 yards after catch and fourth with 141.9 AirYAC (air yards plus yards after catch). Dallas has been decimated by opposing air attacks, particularly on the outside – that’s where he runs 75% of his routes.

Most importantly, McLaurin is really the only week-in week-out mainstay in the Washington aerial attack. This season, his targets in each game are: 7, 10, 8, 14, 7, 12. With Dallas missing OT Zach Martin, the running game won’t be able to thrive like usual. This should create more passing opportunities and, in turn, more for Washington on the flip side.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. EST | Watch: CBS
Paul Brown Stadium – Cincinnati, OH

Wide Receiver To Watch: A.J. Green

I’m just going to come right out and say it – this will be AJ Green Week! On Friday’s episode of Taking Sides, I declared it as such during the Bengals-Browns preview.

There are plenty of reasons to believe Green will be in for a huge Sunday. For one, the Bengals just ruled out Joe Mixon because of an ankle injury, thus making rookie QB Joe Burrow lean more on the passing game. Also, the Browns defense is geared toward clogging things up in the middle of the field, an area where Green won’t travel to often.

Green already had a season-high in targets (13) against Cleveland back in Week 2 but only connected on three of them for 29 yards. Not to mention, he is a name that could be circulating before the NFL’s trade deadline on Nov. 3 – getting him more targets, receptions, etc. would only increase his value.
