Conference Championship Weekend Picks - Georgia to Roll Over Tide

Conference Championship Weekend Picks - Georgia to Roll Over Tide

Welcome back for an exciting slate of NCAA football action on Conference Championship Weekend! Last week was another successful one, highlighted by taking Michigan over Ohio State, and I'm back to provide you with more expert college football picks to profit from.

I've got three Conference Championship Weekend college football picks against the spread in games featuring #9 Baylor vs. #5 Oklahoma State, #1 Georgia vs. #3 Alabama & #2 Michigan vs. #16 Iowa.

Conference Championship Weekend College Football Picks Against The Spread

#9 Baylor at #5 Oklahoma State

This is going to be an absolute slugfest to start Saturday, with two Top-10 teams going head-to-head in a battle where one team could earn itself a playoff berth. That team, of course, is Oklahoma State and it will need a spirited effort in order to get there. Baylor is no slouch, though, as evidenced by the 446 total yards per average it put up all season.

Oklahoma State just had an emotional come-from-behind victory against in-state rival Oklahoma last week, so that type of energy might not be there again. Looking at the betting landscape, the sharps would agree as nearly 60% of the bets are in favor of the higher-ranked Oklahoma State but 65% of the money is with Baylor.

Pick: #9 Baylor (+5.5)

#1 Georgia at #3 Alabama

In my opinion, the best rivalry in college football takes center stage once again as Alabama and Georgia lock horns. The two schools churn out one NFL prospect after another each season, and that means we usually see some competitive football. However, this will not be the case this time around.

Georgia has its eyes set upon its first National Championship since 1980. The Dawgs in Athens are getting hungry for a taste of what Titletown tastes like, and the time is now. Not to mention, Alabama is at one of its lowest points in quite some time with the injuries piling up and the talent racking up across the field.

Pick: #1 Georgia (-6.5)

#2 Michigan at #16 Iowa

I just want to state right off the bat that I don’t think Iowa will win this game outright. However, they are certainly not double-digit underdogs at a neutral site against a slow-moving team like Michigan. This should be one of those old-fashioned run-heavy Big Ten games where the offensive lines and running backs take over.

There is some risk here as Michigan does have a lot at stake. However, Iowa is just the type of team that would love to come in and ruin a potentially big night for John Harbaugh.

Pick: #16 Iowa (+10.5)
