Player Prop Pick: Patty Mills – Over 14.5 Points (-112)
Kyrie Irving is set to return to the Nets after tonight’s game, so a couple of guys have one last chance to fight for playing time and shots before that happens. In all reality, it’s only for road games since Kyrie that’s the only place that he can play right now.
Patty Mills has been above this mark of 14.5 points in a lot of games recently, exceeding this number in six of the last eight. This matchup against the Grizzlies will be a pretty competitive game, meaning we should see timely scoring and, hopefully, get some easy points via free throws down the stretch.
Miami Heat at Golden State Warriors
Player Prop Pick: Draymond Green – Over 8.5 Rebounds (-110)
The Warriors will look to continue their winning ways against an Eastern Conference opponent in the Heat tonight. Since this is a non-conference game, I would imagine the pace is a little more up-tempo than Miami is used to.
In fact, the Warriors have won six straight games with Draymond Green in the lineup. This number of 8.5 rebounds is a bit higher than Green’s average of 7.9 this season, but the Warriors will need his presence down low tonight against a tough Heat squad.
Atlanta Hawks at Portland Trail Blazers
Player Prop Pick: Trae Young – Under 9.5 Assists (-110)
Trae Young has been racking up the assists in recent games, with at least nine in all but one of his 11 games during the month of December. In this matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, I would imagine Young taking more of an ownness in scoring the basketball.
It could certainly turn into a freestyle-like, street ball type of game with all of the flashiness and long-range shooting. As I mentioned earlier, Young has at least nine assists in a lot of recent games, but he has landed right on nine in a couple of those.
