The Grizzlies should have their way with the Trail Blazers
tonight. After all, Portland is on the back-end of a B2B and a stretch of five
games in seven days. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies had two full days off before
tonight’s game. Memphis is playing excellent ball at home lately, going 9-1 SU/8-2
ATS over the last 10. Overall, the Grizzlies are 14-4 SU/13-5 ATS over the last
18.
8:00 p.m. EST – Charlotte Hornets at Minnesota
Timberwolves (ML: -335)
The eight-point spread is absolutely too much for a team
like the T-Wolves, but they can still win outright on the moneyline. Sure, Minnesota
has looked like a much different team lately. However, we’re not exactly sure who
they are just yet. Let’s just play it safe and take the T-Wolves outright on
the moneyline.
8:30 p.m. EST – Sacramento Kings at Dallas Mavericks (ML:
-280)
The Mavericks have been a profitable favorite when they are price at -5 or more, going 19-6 SU/15-9-1 ATS this season. Meanwhile, The Kings have been playing much better basketball since moving Nemanja Bjelica to the center position. Over the last nine games, Sacramento is 6-3 SU/ATS.
However, we don’t expect them to win this one, and that’s
important for this decision. In each of the Kings’ last 10 losses, the total
has gone over. That’s quite a coincidence or, at least, lets us know that this
team goes down fighting in defeat.
Medium-Risk NBA Parlay Picks

7:30 p.m. EST – Toronto Raptors at Brooklyn Nets – Over 224
The Raptors put their 15-game winning on the line in a road
matchup against the Nets. Toronto has won all three matchups against Brooklyn

The Nets could’ve easily won the matchup on Saturday night,
had it not been for some questionable decisions late. Caris LeVert is playing
better than he ever has in his career, and that makes Brooklyn a much deadlier

taking the total to go over – two of the previous three meetings have done so.
This will likely end up being the most competitive game of the night. Don’t be
surprised to see this game go into overtime.
7:30 p.m. EST – Washington Wizards at New York Knicks – Over
228.5
The Wizards are been solid on the back-end of B2Bs this season,
going 3-3 SU/5-1 ATS. Tonight, they’ll face a Knicks team that is coming in on
two-days full rest. New York’s record in that situation isn’t great, and
neither are they overall.
Our top play is to take the over on the 228.5-total. Of
those six Washington B2B games, the total has gone over in all but one of them.
In fact, Wizards’ games have the third-highest percentage (60.8%) of going over
the total. With New York having an extended break, we can probably expect their
defense to be lackadaisical in the final game before the All-Star break.
9:00 p.m. EST – Miami Heat at Utah Jazz – Under 217.5
Both teams will be playing their third game over the last
four days. Perhaps, we could see this one in turn into a crawl toward the
finish line that is the All-Star break. Six of the last eight Miami games have gone
under the total, so we think that could be the key here. Not to mention, Jazz
games that have a total between 214 and 219 went under the total in 12 of the 14
games in that range.
Big-Payout NBA Parlay Picks

In any event, we still believe the Hawks have the better roster and wind up getting this win. Trae Young has been playing out of his mind recently and this will be the final game before he starts in the All-Star Game.
7:30 p.m. EST – Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers +2

Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss tonight’s game for the Bucks
due to the birth of his first child; he also missed Monday’s game. Obviously,
the spread reflects just that, but this one is clearly trending in favor of the
Pacers. Milwaukee has been running roughshod through their recent opponents all
season, so this could possibly be a letdown game right before the All-Star break.
The Bucks haven’t been this low of a favorite since Christmas Day, where they
lost in Philly. We’re on to you, Vegas.
9:00 p.m. EST – Golden State Warriors +8 (-110) at Phoenix
Suns
When looking at the Suns, their recent performances and
historic trends as a huge favorite aren’t that great. Making matters worse, their
star center Deandre Ayton is questionable to play with an ankle injury. Phoenix
is still missing a good chunk of their quality bigs, and this team really hasn’t
been the same since.
We believe the Warriors can keep this game close. It’s not
that we have a ton of faith in them, but we have absolutely no faith in the Suns.
10:00 p.m. EST – Los Angeles Lakers at Denver Nuggets +2
(-110)
The Lakers haven’t been this small of a favorite in about a
month – a road game at Boston where there were clobbered by 32 points. The
three instances before that: vs. Clippers -3 (loss), vs. Nuggets -2.5 (loss), at
Pacers -1 (loss).
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are rolling on a four-game winning
streak and have also won eight of the last 10. We’re seeing a couple of these spreads
that make no sense whatsoever, and this is certainly one of them. The All-Star
break could certainly get started a bit early for some of these teams with
comfortable playoff positioning.
