It was an exhilarating US Open last week where John Rahm made back-to-back birdies to win, but now all eyes now turn to the Travelers Championship 2021. Here we take a look at the 2021 Travelers Championship odds to win as well as my top betting picks for the weekend.
Understandably, most Golf betting sites have made the defending champion Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau joint favorites to win in Connecticut at +1200.

Expert Picks For The Travelers Championship 2021
Patrick Cantlay | +1600
Right off the bat, Cantlay sticks out like a shiny gold star. He ranks third in Par-4 Scoring and fourth in Strokes Gained Tee-To-Green (SGT2G) in addition to playing in peak form. Cantlay has finished T-23, 1st and 15th in his last three tournaments, with the last one coming at The US Open. Obviously, something is right with Cantlay again. After all, before this recent streak, he missed the cut in four straight tournaments. Don’t forget, this was one of the best golfers on tour at one point not too long ago.
Abraham Ancer | +2800
Ancer is quite solid in some of the areas we need, ranking fourth in both Par-4 Scoring and Bogey Avoidance. This is probably a great time to buy low on Ancer, considering he’s missed the cut in two straight tournaments. Prior to missing these last two cuts, Ancer finished no worse than 26th in a tournament since The PLAYERS Championship back in early March.
Emiliano Grillo | +7000
As the No. 1 player in Par-4 Scoring (and second in Bogey Avoidance), Grillo will look to find a level of comfort and ride that to victory. He didn’t play last week at The US Open, so he does have that extra rest that could be vital this week. Don’t forget, last week’s tournament was all the way out in California and now they’ll be playing in Connecticut this week. Grillo does have four Top-10 finishes this season, so look for him to play a big part this weekend. He’s also great value at +650 for a Travelers Championship top 10 finish.
Scottie Scheffler | +2500
Scheffler has three Top-10 finishes in his last four tournaments, so here’s another guy in peak form. In some of those important categories we’re looking for, he does rank eighth in Par-4 Scoring to go along with ranking 28th in Strokes Gained Tee-to-Green. Scheffler has been knocking on the door these last couple weeks, and it may be time to let him in now.
Long Shot Picks For The Travelers Championship That Could Win Big
Cameron Tringale | +7000
Tringale is coming into the Travelers well-rested, not playing for three weeks in between appearances. Upon his return, Tringale will look to get back in good form on a consistent basis. After missing the cut in two straight tournaments, he has now made it through to the weekend in two straight tournaments. Tringale is certainly the type of golfer we’re looking for, as he ranks 11th in Par-4 Scoring, 18th in Strokes Gained Putting, and eighth in Bogey Avoidance.
Russell Henley | +5000
If recent form was the only thing we looked at, Henley should seem like a true underdog. Prior to finishing 13th at The US Open last weekend, he missed two cuts and had T-71 and T-72 finishes in the previous four tournaments. Henley should find success as the No. 4 golfer in Par-4 Scoring. He also has a respectable No. 10 ranking in Bogey Avoidance and No. 27 in Strokes Gained Tee-to-Green. Look for him to put in a good performance at this years Travelers Championship.
